How To Use Social Media For Marketing In Restaurants





Everyone understands the importance of social media, but most of the leaders were not sure how to transform social marketing in social commerce. I am happy to share with you some of my thoughts and ideas. As we all know the restaurant and entertainment industries that are doing well and how they could use social media to increase traffic and create brand awareness and customer loyalty.

Why the work of social media and in the restaurant industry and entertainment? This is a question that has an answer that is a little obvious. The reason social media works well because we are seeing restaurants and entertainment venues to be social and interact. Those who love these places also have social media.

There are many ways that social media can be transformed into social commerce and I will share with you some of them.
You can use social media to:

  •       Engage and interact with customers and existing customers. 
  •       Present events and new menu items and specialties. 
  •       Get feedback on menu items and events.

Everyone has this question:. "I understand social media is important, but how does he do me money" I hear you I will not sugarcoat, social media takes time to turn non-business generating income in the revenue-producing activities, but it can and does occur. 


Consider the following things that social media can do to help save time, money and resources thus increase revenue.:
   
1. Collecting feedback and insight on service, events and menu items

2. Promoting events or new menu items and specials


3. Encourage trials by offering specials and discounts


4. Using teams as your own brand ambassadors that spread the word about your brand


5. Having a direct conversation with your current clienteles and potentially reaching new ones


6. Updating clients and your community on new projects, such as new openings or remodels


7. Increase interest and foot traffic by sharing info, such as contests and giveaways


8. Use social media to interact with your franchises and build an online support community


9. Find employees


10. Keep an eye on your reputation and provide complaint resolutions

There are many things you can use social media for, but the eventual goal is to move it into a social commerce for your business. This will require some time, commitment and hard work, but it can be done and be fruitful.
